For the fifth year in a row, the residents of our shelter have been celebrating Easter there – ever since April 2022, when, at the start of the full-scale war, they gathered here for the first time around a festive table. And this year, too, people were together – greeting one another, sharing Easter bread, painted eggs, and other festive treats, and wishing each other happiness and peace.

We hope that once the war is over, they’ll also have the chance to talk to one another, get together, and spend time together, because during their years at the shelter, they’ve already become one big family – close friends who care about one another and try to support and help each other.
